While wandering through a backwater region of this world of sword and sorcery, she comes across an eccentric young man named Eric who studies a magic script. He agrees to help her return home on the condition that she teach him Japanese. With their bargain struck, the pair set off across the magical continent of Farsus in search of a way back to Earth. Thus begins the sequel to Unnamed Memory.
